I'm a Autistic adult with a love for anything animals, especially dogs! I've experienced firsthand what a service dog can do.

When I'm not training dogs, I love to hike, go running, photography, reading, baking, and trying new

dog-sports with my own dogs! I have trained my own service dogs since my teen years, and shadowed under service dog trainers in the Vancouver area to expand my hands on experience.

From my earliest memory, I have always been interested and around dogs. I would train and play with family and friends dogs, and read as much as I could on canine behaviour. As a teen (16-18), I worked as a respite worker with autistic kids and trained service dogs and pet dogs on the side. As an adult (19-present) I work as a BI (behaviour interventionist) with autistic kids supporting transitions, social learning, lifeskills, and communication. And running Sherbert Service Dogs assisting handlers train their own service dogs!

As a dog trainer I believe it is my job to continue my education and stay up to date with the current information on canine behaviour. August, 2024 I became a certified dog trainer through Dogma Academy, and received my DDT designation. December 2025, I receved my canine behaviour consultant certification through Dogma Academy. I received my Certified Trick Dog Instructor designation as of Spring 2026, through Do More With Your Dog.

I have completed the following courses through Cooperative Paws Service Dog Education:

Alert and Response Tasks, Loose Leash Walking for Clients with Mobility Disabilities, & Getting Started in Public Access.

As of October 2024, I have completed Emily Priestley's 4 week Reactivity course , and Karen Pryor Academy's But First! Fun cooperative care course (4 weeks).

And I am currently a member in good standing at the Canadian Association of Professional Dog Trainers, and serving as a member of the Service Dog Commitee.

I am a member in good standing at the Canadian Pet Care Professionals

I am First Aid Certified through Walk N' Wags
